INTRODUCTION TO JUDAISM OPEN CLASSES

We have had a wonderful and meaningful first month of class and are looking forward to continuing our learning together. The rabbi will be looking at Jewish history and all Beit Shalom members are welcome to join in these classes. Classes are $5 each, or $10 for non members.

All classes run for ninety minutes and are held on Wednesday evengings. Classes will start at 7:30 p.m.

Learn to Chant Torah!

Have you always harboured a secret desire to read from the Torah? Now is your chance to learn the necessary skills. The rabbi will offer a five-week class in Torah chanting starting on Wednesday 7 November at 7:00 p.m. If you are fairly comfortable reading Hebrew and are reasonably able to carry a tune, please plan to join us. Tuition will be $25 for members and $45 for non-members, including an instructional CD. If you are interested in signing up, please contact the Rabbi [or the Beit Shalom office] right away to register.

Hebrew Reading Course

Rabbi Kaminsky will conduct Hebrew Reading course commencing in mid-late February. The classes will be held on Thursday evenings - commencing at 7:30 pm
